Biffmarty's amazing journey & soggy aftermath!

Bild
I was riding through a time warp on my faithful mount, the Delorean Serpent, when a rogue comet cut across my path like a ominous dirty snowball.  The comet dust was getting in my eyes as I pulled the reigns left and right in a desperate attempt to regain control of my silver steed.  Whirling across time and space, I clenched my teeth and prepared for impact on what looked like a gentle blue sea near a small island on an unfamiliar world.  Stunned momentarily, I somehow managed to swim clear of my remaining link to my old life and crawled onto the sandy shores of Rookgaard, dripping and blinking in the strong sunlight.  No sooner was I greeted by a man named Simon when I heard my own voice sounding like a stranger in my ears.  As I reached to shake his hand, I saw that my arm was not as usual, but strangely altered.  Somehow, as I spun recklessly across the delicate path between all worlds, my mind and body were unified with the unexpected DNA of my arch-nemesis, who had secretly concealed himself below the flux capacitor.

I made my acquaintance with this place, Fidera, and I was welcomed here by some helpful trolls and dwarfs, who showed me the sort of manners and greeting I could expect from the creatures of this world.  Soon they were providing me with plenty of spears and white mushrooms to fuel my questing. Many days I searched the swampy outskirts of Venore, seeking some sign of my old mount or some sorcery that could raise my hopes from the bog.  No green-skinned jedi trainers were available to help me, so I began to admit that I am probably stuck here and I better make the best of it.

After some time I turned my attention northward, exploring the entire surface of the Tibian mainland, from Uldrek's Rock, to the Fields of Glory.  Exploring the margins of my map and expanding my knowledge of tactics and strategy, I made the acquaintance of many helpful souls.  Sir Dealot, Weist, Pixiebelle, Souls Chaos, Tehie, and the controversial Ezio Pacey were my benefactors.  I became a proud member of the Capitalist Pigs, renamed Swine, and lived in Mercenary Tower. Ezio had set up a sweet guild armory and I 'borrowed' an elven bow, to continue my lifelong love of the string and the nock, the tension and release of a well-placed shot.
Eventually I became the more or less respected leader of the Divine Demons.  Tanis Black, Arii, Rulijul were my comerades in arms at this time. The Divine Demons lived for a time in Seawatch, on the northern shore where chickens are plentiful.

When the call came for warriors to battle the Rise of Devovorga, I got my first experience with the impressive power of a large and diverse team.  We soon beat Teneshpar into submission, and aided out comerades across the sea who battled the main half-plant and half-demon monstrosity.  But the first times we slew Teneshpar, our world could not coordinate the simultaneous slayings of all these cousins.  We waited as these 'roots' of Devovorga rose again and again, and our brave team dove into the portal again and again. Smallest teams of eleven to fifteen would see three casualties but as more people came to aid we went to twenty five people all attacking at once and then we could slay the beast with only one or two heroes sacrificing their terrible temple-trips in the maw or paw of our foe.  - Would we fail? There was no success the first night, but eventually logged to rest.

The next night we learned that other worlds had succeeded and this rallied our chats and summoned a larger team than before and set out to do it as a science.  We blasted and slashed Teneshpar until her blood ran red and thin, almost black blood with a scent of death's rank approach in the air.  Then at a cry, we would all retreat back to the surface and wait for the other groups all across Fidera to do the same.  Then when we confirmed that all the teams were ready, we leaped through and struck together with our most powerful energies.  Did it work?  Did it work?  It did not work.
We waited outside for the inevitable respawn and I saw the recklessness of a hot-headed knight Zombie Maverick who would not listen to instructions.  There is a picture of Kanose laughing on Folda at the renegade before he went in solo to his regretful demise. "LEEEROY JENKINS!" The next time we went and took her to the red, cooler heads prevailed and Fidera was victorious the second day of this tremendous quest.

Afterward in Devovorga's lair, I could get two amazing rewards, but alas could not pass the door of experience to access another valuable chest.  My friend with only a little more experience than I had made it through this door, and I realized I could possibly go on three big hunts and get to the level I needed to pass. The reward room would remain open for three days, it was said.  I tell you the truth, before the sun had set three times, I completed my goal and passed that door.

This small guild, in time, merged into a larger one, the Bald Dwarfs.  Then I began hunting with Ricky Darkbane, Kyus Amra, and also a bunch of cool people too numerous to name.  As the seasons passed and the tides of fortune turned, I became a leader of this guild as well.

Then there was the time when darkness threatened to overwhelm the lands, and we were called on to keep the basins burning until the crisis passed. We were coordinating with Barby Dzzo and guarding the basins with the likes of Exonian Tega and Mith Stregax.  Arkshi Toya stood mightily in this worldwide effort alongside many more - but for now - I will leave this story for another time.
